With China’s opening to the outside world and deepening reform, China Foreign Affairs University has been expanding contacts with other countries and it has established ties for cultural and academic exchanges with institutes for diplomatic studies, universities or foundations of the USA, the UK, France, Russia, Ukraine, Canada, Australia, Japan, Korea, Egypt, Laos, Venezuela, Cuba, Uruguay, Bolivia, Uzbekistan, Oman, Mongolia, etc. China Foreign Affairs University is a member to the Meeting of Deans and Directors of Diplomatic Academies and Institutes of International Relations. Delegation of CFAU is sent to attend the Meeting each year, to discuss relevant academic issues, and to exchange information and experiences in matters of school management. Each year has seen world-renown scholars, statesmen, diplomats and ambassadors to China coming over to CFAU campus for a visit or addressing the audience of the University.
